Most small business websites are forgettable. Yours will not be.

We build websites that look like they cost ten grand, for businesses that do not have ten grand. Hand written code, quick on a bad phone signal, and yours to keep for good.

01 The problem

You already know what a bad website costs you.

Someone hears your name, looks you up on their phone, and lands on a page that loads slowly, looks ten years old, and never quite says what you do. They go back to Google. You never find out they were there.

A good website does the opposite. It answers the question fast, it looks like you charge what you charge for a reason, and it makes getting in touch feel easy. That is the whole job, and it is the only thing we do.

02 The work

Three concept pieces, built the way yours would be.

Every one of these is real code, not a picture of a website. Each was designed for a type of business we know well, and each got the same care yours would get.

03 The difference

Drag the handle. This is the gap.

On the left, the cheap template most small businesses end up with. On the right, the same business, built properly.

04 What you get

Twelve things that come as standard.

Not add ons. Not upgrades. This is what a website should have been all along.

  • Made by hand

Every line written for your business. No page builder, no template that ten other shops in the region are already using.

  • Quick on bad signal

Built light, so it opens in under a second on a phone with two bars in a car park.

  • Set up to be found

Titles, descriptions, sitemap, structured data and Google Business Profile, all done before it goes live.

  • Right on every screen

Checked on real phones, tablets and a big desktop monitor. Most of your visitors are on a phone, so that comes first.

  • Words that sell

We write the whole thing with you, in your voice. You will not be sent a blank page and told to fill it in.

  • Your photos, made better

Send whatever you have, phone snaps included. We crop them, fix the colour, tidy the background and sharpen them, then compress them so they stay quick to load.

  • One page or twenty

A single page that does the job beats five pages of padding. We will tell you honestly which one you need.

  • Forms that work

Bookings, quote requests, collection orders. They arrive in your inbox with everything you need to reply.

  • You own it

The domain, the files, the inbox, the lot. Walk away whenever you like and take it with you.

  • Hosting sorted

Thirty pounds a month keeps it online, backed up and looked after. Your domain is in that price, in your name.

  • Changes by message

New price, new photo, new opening hours. Send a text, it is done the same week.

  • Nothing to log into

No dashboard to learn, no plugins to update, no security warnings at eleven at night. It just sits there working.

05 How it works

Four steps, two to three weeks, no jargon.

You will know what is happening at every point, and you will see it before you pay the rest.

  1. Step one

    A twenty minute chat

Phone, video call or a coffee if you are local. We ask what you actually sell, who buys it, and what you want more of. No charge, no sales patter.

    Day one
  2. Step two

You see it before you commit

We design the real home page and send you a link. Not a sketch, the real thing, on your phone. Change anything you like at this point. You have not paid a penny yet and you still do not have to.

    Days 2 to 6
  3. Step three

    Built, written and tested

The rest of the pages get built, the words get written, your photos get sorted, and the whole thing gets tested on real phones. You get a link every few days.

    Days 7 to 16
  4. Step four

    Live, and yours

Domain pointed, email working, Google told about it, speed checked and the numbers sent to you. Then thirty days of changes included while you settle in.

    Day 17

06 The price

One page. One hundred pounds.

That is the build, in full, no catch. Hosting is thirty pounds a month and keeps it online. Anything past the single page costs more, and we work that out together on a call before you commit to anything. Tick what you think you need and it goes on the list.

What are you?
Anything past the one page?

One good page beats five weak ones, and most takeaways never need more. Tick anything you are not sure about and we will tell you straight whether it is worth the money.

When do you need it?

07 The proof

This page is the sales pitch.

Everything you have scrolled through is one HTML file, one stylesheet and one script. No page builder, no plugins, no cookie banner, nothing following you around. Here are the real numbers from your browser, measured a second ago.

Page weight, this site against the average

This page
0 KB
Average site
2,700 KB

Average from the HTTP Archive median page, 2024. Weight is not everything, but it is the part your customer feels on a bad signal.

Why it matters: every extra second of load time costs you people who were ready to buy.

08 The price list

Two numbers. That is the whole price list.

No packages to compare, no tiers designed to push you up one. One price to build it, one to keep it running.

Everything starts here

The one page site

One long page that does the job of five. For shops, takeaways, trades and anyone who needs the phone to ring.

Anything past the one page costs more

Booking systems, card payments, extra pages, a logo. All of them are real work and all of them are priced on the job, because a butcher taking collection orders and a builder laying out forty finished jobs are not the same piece of work. You get the number on a twenty minute call, in writing, before anything starts.

  • More pages
  • Online booking
  • Card payments
  • A menu you edit yourself
  • Logo and colours

You pay the £100 once you have seen the design and said yes to it. If you look at it and walk away, you owe nothing.

10 Questions

The things people ask before they say yes.

Two to three weeks for most sites, from the day you send your photos and details over. If you need it faster we can usually turn one page around in a week. The slow part is never the building, it is waiting on your bits, so we chase you politely.

Twenty minutes on the phone, whatever photos you already have, and your prices. That is genuinely it. Phone snaps are fine. We crop them, fix the colour, clean up whatever is cluttering the background and sharpen them before they go anywhere near the page, so they end up looking far better than they came in. You never have to write a word yourself unless you want to.

You pay nothing to start. The hundred pounds is due once you have seen the design and told us you are happy with it. If you look at it and decide it is not for you, you walk away owing nothing and we part on good terms. Hosting only starts the month it goes live.

You tell us plainly and we change it. That is why the design comes before the invoice. Most projects go through two or three rounds of notes and nobody falls out. If it is still not right after that, you have paid nothing and we part on good terms.

The bits that change often, like a menu, price list or opening hours, get set up so you can edit them in a minute from your phone. For anything bigger, send a message and it is done that week. Most owners would rather text us than learn another system, so that is the default.

You do, from day one. The domain is registered in your name on your account, the hosting is your account, and you get the files. Nothing is held hostage. If you ever want to take it to someone else, you can, and we will hand it over the same day.

Thirty pounds a month, and that is the only ongoing cost there is. It covers the hosting itself, your domain name, backups, keeping the thing online and small changes when you need them. There is no setup fee on top and no contract, so cancel it whenever you like.

Yes, for a sensible number of products. Card payments run through Stripe, the money goes straight to your bank, and there is no monthly platform fee on top. If you are selling thousands of lines we will tell you honestly that Shopify suits you better, and we will still design it.

The groundwork is done properly: fast pages, clean titles, your address and hours marked up so Google reads them, sitemap submitted, and your Google Business Profile filled in. That gets local searches working. Nobody honest can promise you the top spot for a competitive term, and anyone who does is selling you something.

The thirty pounds a month takes over and you stop thinking about it. New price, new photo, new opening hours, send a message and it gets done. Anything big enough to be a new piece of work gets quoted first, so nothing lands on your bill by surprise.

11 Start here

Tell us about your business.

Fill this in and you will get a straight answer back within one working day: what it would cost, how long it would take, and whether we think you even need a new site. Sometimes the honest answer is that yours is fine and needs a tidy up.

  • No obligation, no follow up calls you did not ask for.
  • A real person reads it. Usually the person who would build it.
  • If we are booked up, we will say so and give you a date.

Goes straight to our inbox. We do not add you to anything, and we do not pass your details on.
